Geoff Bond, MS, CEng, MICE, MISE, MIL, MITI, Founding President/CEO of "The Natural Eating Co Ltd", is elected Director/Trustee and International Correspondent in Paphos (Cyprus) of the International Institute of Medicine and Science, Inc. of Rancho Mirage, California.
Mr. Bond, a graduate of London University, spent his early career living and working in remote African villages. Using both research and first-hand observation of tribal societies, he developed the spell-binding story about what it means to be human in nutritional and lifestyle terms. This new science of nutritional anthropology provides an extraordinary understanding of how, by living in harmony with the way our evolutionary history designed us humans, we can rejoice in the best possible health and relish the prospect of a long life lived in good shape.
Today, we can fix just about everything that Nature can throw at us. So what is left are the self-inflicted diseases, the diseases of lifestyle: cancer, heart disease, diabetes, obesity, osteoporosis, arthritis, dementia, and many more. Contrary to what many people believe, they are caused by the mismatch between the lifestyle designed by our evolutionary origins and the lifestyle we live today. They are diseases of modern industrial societies: they were virtually unknown in Prehistoric times.
Mr. Bond is the author of "Natural Eating In a Nutshell", "Natural Eating: Nutritional Anthropology, Eating in Harmony with Our Genetic Programming", and "Deadly Harvests: The Intimate Relationship Between Our Health and Our Food". In these works, he describes the science behind this knowledge, explains why these problems have arisen, shows that the disorders that plague our society are not inevitable, and offers a blueprint for improving our health, longevity and quality of life. Mr. Bond passionately believes in the insights contained in the science of nutritional anthropolgy and has a driving motivation to stimulate everyone to improve his/her life.
Together with his wife and most passionate disciple, Nicole, he is also the co-author of "Healthy Harvests: Healthy Eating with the Bond Girl", a companion volume that embodies the Bond principles.
Mr. Bond lectures extensively in America and Europe, including Continuing Medical Education (CME) training of medical doctors and medically-sponsored outreach seminars. He is a frequent guest on television and radio shows.
As a Board member, Mr. Bond will advise the Board at large on all matters pertaining to nutritional science and its effects on health and disease.

Institute Director, Dr. Gerard Sabbah, DDS and his team (Prof.-Dr. Giuseppe Monetti, MD (musculoskeletal radiologist); Dr. Claude Schiff, DDS; Mrs. Josiane Sabbah, Executive Director) of G3D, a subsidiary of Euro-Medicale, Ltd.) visited PLANMECA in Helsinki, Finland. PLANMECA is the manufacturer of advanced imaging dentistry equipment, including the state-of-the-art Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) system. PLANMECA was represented by its President/CEO and its Vice President for international relations.
The G3D team proposed a cooperative project aimed at the utilization and global expansion of cone-beam radiological imaging of the complete face for dental implantology, maxillo-facial surgery, facial esthetic & reconstructive surgery, and musculo-skeletal radiology & corrective surgery. A test pilot for the project consists in the development of a mobile radiological unit including a beta version of the Planmeca Promax 3D Pro-face system, a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) unit, and an ultrasound echo imaging unit.
According to its manufacturer,"the Planmeca Promax 3D Pro-face system is a unique CBCT imaging unit with integrated three-dimensional patient's face scan system that is acquired in a radiation-free process. This true three-dimensional application is designed to fulfill the most diverse diagnostic needs of today's maxillo-facial and dental professionals. It affords the medical or dental professional the opportunity to plan interventions and document the follow-up images. It also enables safer and faster facial surgeries". By augmenting this system with a magnetic resonance imaging unit and an ultrasound echo Doppler unit, the G3D team will additionally be able to provide the optimal diagnosis for osteo-articular pathologies.
Advantages of this project include: (1) Patients are no longer required to visit the diagnostic/treatment centers, the reverse actually takes place; (2) The combined use of the three technologies reinforces diagnostic quality and allows the surgeon to optimize his/her intervention; (3) the radiological report represents the GPS for the surgery, which would enable optimal surgery and post-surgery follow-ups.
The project is jointly sponsored by G3D, the University of Bologna (Italy), School of Musculo-Skeletal Radiology (Director: Professor Giuseppe Monetti, a world leader in static and dynamic radiology) and the International Institute of medicine and Science, Inc..
